I hope everyone has had a great summer! I am looking forward to another great year in GT at Whitt Elementary School.

Ms. Biggers: My name is Emily Biggers. I am the GT Specialist at Whitt Elementary School. I love my job! I work with gifted & talented students in pull-out classes and assist teachers with ideas for higher level thinking in their classrooms. I also have fun sponsoring our Whitt Chess Club! This is my 20th year to teach. I taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades prior to becoming a GT Specialist. I am originally from Memphis, TN, home of Elvis Presley and the best BBQ in the world! I graduated from Baylor University with a BS in Elementary Education and from Hardin-Simmons University with a masters degree in Gifted & Talented Education. Welcome to our Whitt GT blog!
