We have been working hard in GT classes at Whitt! Here are some recent pictures.... 5th grade reading Call it Courage by Armstrong Sperry... 4th grade enjoys the challenging mystery of The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin... Always a 3rd grade favorite -- The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo... 1st/2nd graders have enjoyed studying about inventors and inventions as well as becoming inventors themselves!

New Blog for GT!

Welcome to the new blog where you can read about what's buzzin' in GT at Whitt Elementary School! This blog will include posts and pictures from our GT pull-out classes. I will also include some of my favorite websites and quotes for gifted kids and their parents. I will list cool places that gifted kids might enjoy in the DFW area. You never know what else I might add to this blog... so "buzz" by often to check it out!
