1st and 2nd grade GT students had a great trip to the Dallas Museum on Thursday. Below are some pictures of our day.
This morning we celebrated a great year in GT with breakfast as a whole group in the GT room. We had special visitors -- Ms. Shaw, our principal and Mrs. Debbie Midkiff, the Director of Advanced Academics for GPISD. Mrs. Hasty was another special guest. We had donuts and apple juice as we watched a slideshow of the year in GT. It was fun to see all of our special events as well as some photos of projects and classwork.
I have been very pleased to hear TAKS results from my students this week. We have many, many commended scores to celebrate! Way to go!
I hope that each of your families has a wonderful summer. It has been such a blessing to work with such sweet, smart, sassy students this year at Whitt! I look forward to seeing many of you again in August. And fifth graders, you'd better come back to visit us!
