Decisions and Puzzles... on September 27th!
Fifth graders met in their shop teams today and made advertising decsions for MarketPlace Grand Prairie.
They found out that teamwork can be challenging.

Second graders were challenged with a puzzle from a Japanese quiz show! See how they turned "300" into "ONE" by moving only two toothpicks!

Big Day for 5th Grade GT!
Fifth grade GT students have been working hard preparing for MarketPlace Grand Prairie. They have learned what goes into getting a job! Each student completed an application as well as a personal resume. A former teacher wrote each student a letter of recommendation. Then it was time for interviews with Ms. Biggers! Today the students received their job offers! We now have our two shops fully staffed! Everyone seemed very pleased with their new positions. Way to go, fifth grade! Now it is time to choose shop names and themes, make advertising choices, and learn how to manage a checking account!
